CBU Online Earns Top 10 National Rankings

In a recent feature published by U.S. News & World Report, California Baptist University received high marks for its online bachelor?s degree programs. This 2017 ranking of online universities lists CBU Online in the number 8 spot among a very large pool of competing colleges, and gives them the distinction as being the only California based college in the top ten for undergraduate degrees.

CBU Online has a strong history of high performance in such studies. It has been placed in the top 40 for five consecutive years, and has also received notice for being a strong pick for veterans and among other regional universities. Additionally, CBU Online has ranked extremely high for training instructors, with a No. 2 placement for both online graduate business programs and online MBA faculty & credentials training, a No.3 placement for their graduate education faculty training and a No. 5 placement for bachelor?s degree faculty.

And yet CBU Online continues their tireless search for improvement. Dr. David Poole, the vice president for CBU Online?s and Professional Studies department, has been very ?pleased [by] this year?s national ranking,? which ?affirms CBU Online?s commitment to increasing access to education, and serving the adult student.? His department is a testament to that dedication, serving well over 3,600 online students and offering 20 different online majors and concentrations, as well 14 graduate majors and two doctoral programs. Their courses generally focus on careers in administration, business, and education, but offer related degrees such as a masters in public health online.

Being ranked so highly as part of the US News & World Report?s yearly publication of acclaimed and accredited universities affirms their goals. The competition has at times been pretty fierce, with CBU Online jockeying for rankings within the top 40, which makes this No. 8 spot an even sweeter victory.
