1st International Conference on Emerging Trends in Science, Engineering and Technology

Dr. D Y Patil School of Engineering, Charholi(Bk), Lohegaon Pune recently concluded the 1stInternational Conference on Emerging Trends in Science, Engineering and Technology (ICETSET-2018) on 21st& 22nd March 2018.

The ICETSET-2018 brought together researchers, academicians, scientists, and scholars from the allied areas of all streams of Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engg., Mechanical and Civil Engineering to encourage their ideas and research contributions that will persuade and cultivate sustained research in the respective fields.

Dignitaries present for the conference were Chief Guest, Mr, Ashish Yakhmi, Vice President, 2W Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd; Guest of Honor, Mr. Ravi Kumar Verma, Asst. Manager, Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd; Dr Suryakant Patil, CEO, PSP-IP Associates, Keynote Speaker; Dr. NileshVishwanath, Campus Director; Dr. S. S. Sonavane, Director Dr. D. Y. Patil Technical Campus; Dr. Saniya Ansari, Convener; Prof. RiyajKazi, Co-convener and Prof. A. P. Deshmukh, Dean Academics.

Conference commenced with lightning of lamp by chief guest along with the other dignitaries. The chief guest, Ashish Yakhmi, focused on marketing skills, product placement and sales. The guest of honor Ravi kumar Varma dwelled on production, quality supply chain management. Dr. Saniya Ansari, Conference Convener spoke on the fast changes in technology including Renewable energy, driverless car, internet of things, Cloud computing, Artificial intelligence etc. Dr. S.S. Sonavane, Conference director addressed the gathering and highlighted the DYPSOE achievements in various dimensions including patents. Dr. NilsehVishwanath, Campus Director, spoke on campus development and progress. Dr. Suryakant Patil delivered a key note speech on Patents and publications.

Conference received two hundred and seven full papers and one hundred and eighty six papers were finalized after review. There was overwhelming response from various states of India like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and other countries.
