JIMS Rohini organized ‘Alumni Coffee Series-8’ at Chandigarh

: Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) Rohini Delhi organized its ?Alumni Coffee Series-8? at MOCHA, Elante Mall Chandigarh. Senior college alumni including Kanvaldeep Bedi - research analyst, Tata Teleservices, Itti Chhabra - Assistant Manager, Axis Bank and Ashish Manchanda - Deputy Manager, Times of India Group. The Institute values its association with alumni network and organizes regular events not only to strengthen its network but also to encourage its existing students to learn from their seniors.

Mr. Manish Gupta ? JIMS Chairman said that?Alumni and their alma mater are inseparable. Both complement each other. Both grow in tandem. The alumni are the lifelong stakeholders of any educational institute. They need to be a part of every development, activity that we do. Therefore we meet them regularly and update them of the latest happenings in the institute??. The Coffee series is an initiative in this direction.

Alumni coffee meet was a fun evening and an informal affair where seniors and juniors came together to enjoy the laughter saga and to revive old memories. During alumni meets, different people from different industry backgrounds meet and exchange experiences, ideas, learning and enhance their network for good. Sometimes, the invitation to attend such alumni meet is also extended to current batch students so that they can learn about the expectations of the Industry from their seniors.

Itti Chhabra - Assistant Manager, Axis Bank said ?When you come up with any new idea ask yourself how many people can be impacted by your idea. Your success is directly related to the impact caused to the mass?.

Kanvaldeep Bedi sad that ?I feel that JIMS Alumni members? engagement & wholehearted participation of this kind will surely motivate us to bring in excellence and will guide new college entrants to bond better?.
