Southwestern Christian University Offers Continuing Education to Working Adults

Southwestern Christian University is pleased to announce they offer continuing education to working adults. The program is designed specifically to allow them to continue their college education while working full time. Southwestern Christian University is a Christian Liberal Arts school designed to equip students for learning, leadership and service within their communities. The core values of SCU include scholarship, spirit and service.

The School of Adult and Online Education being offered at Southwestern Christian University is set up to fit into a working adult's already busy schedule. Adults take only one class at a time in classes with a low student-to-faculty ratio. This is helpful for most students and allows for more one-on-one instruction. Adult students pay tuition, which is all-inclusive of classes, tuition and textbooks.

The school is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, which is a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Students may choose from four bachelor degree programs, including Biblical Leadership, Business Leadership, Business Administration and Human and Family Services. Southwestern Christian University has two campuses in Bethany and Tulsa. They also offer a Bachelor of Professional Leadership through an online course.

About Southwestern Christian University : Southwestern Christian University is located in Bethany, Oklahoma, just outside the OKC metro area. The college was founded in 1964 by the International Pentecostal Holiness Church and was then known as Southwestern Bible College. As the school grew, it began to develop a junior college program and was accredited by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. By 1973, the school had been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and became a full four-year college focusing on Christian values and education.
