CEng. Shreekant Patil Appointed as I-STEM Ambassador to Empower R&D, Startups, and Academic Innovation Across India

CEng. Shreekant Patil, a distinguished engineering professional, founder of PARENTNashik, and a globally recognized mentor and master trainer, has been officially appointed as an I-STEM Ambassador under the Professional Category.
The Indian Science Technology and Engineering facilities Map (I-STEM) is a national web portal supported by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India. It functions as a national research infrastructure grid, connecting researchers, startups, entrepreneurs, and academic institutions across the country with high-cost, publicly funded scientific facilities and equipment.
With a robust multi-faceted career, Shreekant Patil serves as a mentor with Startup India, MeiTY STPI, BIRAC, IEEE, and various state governments across India, alongside being a Master Trainer at NSDC (Skill India), a signatory and professional trainer, and an FDP trainer for UN WEPs and the World Bank Group's IFC-GLC. Furthermore, as a Subject Matter Expert in resistance welding contributing with BIS-India and AWS as a Sector Technical Committee member, he brings deep domain expertise to the industrial landscape.
Globally connected and deeply committed to grassroots impact, he is associated with numerous colleges and universities across India and internationally—collaborating closely with EDP cells and Institution's Innovation Councils (IICs) to cultivate campus innovation. His global footprint extends to active alignment with initiatives by the European Innovation Council, UNESCO, CEET, and various United Nations programs.
In this new role, Shreekant Patil will leverage his extensive industry experience and the I-STEM portal as a strategic tool for startups, entrepreneurs, industries, and colleges to accelerate R&D.
