Denver, Colo. (June 30, 2019) – As a part of their mission to improve mental wellness, Project Helping is proud to announce the addition of Open Labs to their programming. Open Labs is a member-led community in the greater Denver area that brings people together who share similar brain conditions to create actionable programming and meaningful conversation on the topic of mental health - at work and in life.

Changing how people perceive brain health is no easy task. To fight this stigma, Project Helping is offering ‘Storytelling Training’ as a unique resource for mental health education in the growing Denver Community. Storytelling has helped change the conversations that circulates around brain health. With sharing stories in publications like bpHope, Westworld and on stage in front of thousands of people, these platforms have helped normalize brain conditions and have given members the support they need, along with the opportunity to find value in their own personal story.

"We are excited to add Open Labs and their innovative approach to mental health storytelling. This programming will add depth to Project Helping's approach to improving mental wellbeing. We are excited for both the Open Labs and Project Helping communities to come together and access the deep mental wellness programming we have to offer," said Justin Kruger, founder of Project Helping.

Project Helping officially brought on Open Labs on June 1, 2019. Hollis Moore, Open Labs Community Manager, is now a part of the Project Helping team.
