John Crane Appoints Jesper Østerlund as Vice President, Commercial and Service

India, 6th November 2026 – John Crane, a global leader in flow-control technologies and an innovator in solutions for rotating equipment, has appointed Jesper Østerlund as Vice President, Commercial and Service to lead the company's global Commercial and Service organisation.

In his new role, Jesper will play a leading role in delivering John Crane's strategy and strengthening customer relationships around the world. Building on the company's strong foundations, he will focus on ensuring customers benefit from John Crane's full range of expertise and lifecycle capabilities. He will also help translate market insights into opportunities to enhance solutions and services, support customers' evolving needs and drive growth.

Jesper joins John Crane from Chart Industries, now part of Baker Hughes, where he served as Senior Vice President, Revenue Operations and led strategies and processes across global commercial operations. In this role, he oversaw the global aftermarket business and drove commercial digital transformation, including data-driven solutions and the optimisation of CRM and e-commerce platforms.
