Analysis about How to Select the Cone Crusher

The rapid economic development, the crushing industry has also got a full opportunity of development. A wide range of crushing equipments are dazzling. As a leader in the crushing plant, how to choose the cone crusher is worthy of attention.

The cone crusher can be divided into symons cone crusher, spring cone crusher, the composite cone crusher and hydraulic cone crusher, which are suitable for crushing medium hardness ores and rocks. The cone crusher machine is divided into standard, medium and short-head type. The standard type is used in medium crushing. The Medium-sized short-head type is generally used for minor operations. Symons cone crusher has four cavities, namely, extra coarse, coarse, medium, fine type.

The principle is to select the cone crusher is to check the feed size and its exclusive material grain size. If the feeding size is large, the product size is coarse. You should choose special rough or coarse type. Otherwise, you can use medium and fine type. In the calculation of the feeding size, the open side of the feed inlet size is multiplied by 0.85 to select the size of the feed, while the average size of the product divided by the maximum feed crushing ratio.

When you choose the machine, you should pay attention to the liner. The user must generally consider three factors: yield, power consumption and liner wear. It should be general accordance with the following principles: maximum feed size; changes in particle size, feed particle size distribution, the hardness of the material, the wear resistance of materials. The liner is longer, the power consumption will be higher. The hard material should choose a short liner, and soft materials should select long liner.  In the distribution of materials, the fine materials should choose short liner, while the crude materials should select long liner. For the feed particle size distribution, in general, it should be less than the closed edge of the material discharge opening not exceeding 10%. If it is more than 10%, power consumption is rising and the product particle size will become sheet. The increase of amount of viscous material moisture can affect the throughput of materials. For the moisture of the material, it is generally not more than 5%.  For the use of power, the standard cone crusher should reach 75% to 80%, and the short head cone crusher should reach 80% ~ 85%.
