Behavioral Crossroads Announces Expansion to Include Primary Substance Abuse Services

Behavioral Crossroads recently announced they had expanded their existing services to include primary substance abuse services. This will provide clients with a variety of care options on several levels. This, along with the opening of their Turnsersville outpatient location, is designed to offer well-rounded services to their clientele.

Behavioral Crossroads initially opened their mental health partial hospitalization program in 2000 before opening their outpatient facility in 2013. Since the current ownership group took over in late 2004, Crossroads has seen substantial growth. At that time, the facility saw about 40 clients per day and had 60 open client cases. Today, they see approximately 250 clients each day and have 500 open client cases in their census.

The primary focus of the outpatient facility is to provide help with both mental health and substance abuse issues. They include a vast array of services, including ambulatory detox, co-occurring substance abuse outpatient programs and partial hospitalization programs for both mental health and substance abuse. Individuals can participate in mental health or substance abuse programs or they may participate in group counseling programs.
