SPGCL Commences Commercial Production at Mineral Beneficiation Unit in Morocco

New Delhi, September 29, 2026 - Sri Priyanka Geo Commex Limited (SPGCL) announces the commencement of commercial production at its Mineral beneficiation unit in Morocco, a facility set up to upgrade the quality and grade of Barite through gravity-based beneficiation.

At full capacity, the facility is expected to process approximately 72000 MT Per Annum of raw Barite.

The milestone strengthens the Group's integrated mineral operations in Morocco, adding a critical processing step between mining and international supply. By enabling gravity-based separation to improve Barite quality and grade before the material enters the downstream supply chain, the Mineral beneficiation facility increases value addition at source and gives the Group greater control over quality, processing and supply, rather than relying solely on the sourcing and supply of raw material.

The Mineral beneficiation unit builds on a series of developments in Morocco since 2025, including the allocation of a barite mine and a copper mine, commercial production from the barite mine, copper exploration activities, and the commencement of domestic cabotage operations. Together, these position the Group across the mineral value chain, mining, beneficiation, processing, port logistics and cabotage, vessel chartering, and international supply to customers.
