ViceVersa Tools Releases MSG to/from Office365 Converter, Enabling Two-Way Mail Transfer Between Outlook and Microsoft 365

New Delhi, Sept 9, 2026 — ViceVersa Tools has released its MSG to/from Office365 Converter, a desktop application designed to move email between MSG files and a Microsoft 365 mailbox without limiting the process to a single direction.

Conversion tools in this category typically support only one path, usually moving data into the cloud and stopping there. The new release covers both sides of that exchange. Messages stored in an Office 365 account can be exported into individual MSG files, and existing MSG files can be loaded directly into an Office 365 mailbox, with both processes handled inside the same application.

The two-way design is intended for situations where a single export or import does not complete the job. IT teams working through a partial migration, restoring an older mailbox, or managing a setup where Outlook and Office 365 are both still in use often need to shift data in both directions across the same project. A single tool covering both paths removes the need to rely on separate applications depending on which way the data needs to travel.

Alongside the added direction support, the interface has been rebuilt. The update includes a simplified login step, a clearly marked option for selecting the conversion direction, and a status view that updates as items are processed. The underlying conversion logic has not changed, but the redesign is meant to reduce the learning curve for someone using the tool for the first time.

The conversion process retains formatting, attachments, and metadata regardless of direction, and it accepts MSG files created by any supported version of Outlook. On the Office 365 side, the tool connects to the target mailbox using account credentials directly, without requiring an intermediate export step.

"Migration work involving Office 365 rarely stays confined to one direction," said a spokesperson for ViceVersa Tools. "This release was built around the fact that users need to move mail back and forth depending on where a project stands, not just push everything one way and stop."
