Mumbai, 4th September, 2026: Ugaoo, India’s one-stop gardening shop, has launched its latest campaign featuring the real-life father-son duo, Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff. Built around Jackie’s well-known and authentic love for plants, the campaign takes an exaggerated, humorous look at what happens when a father’s love for his plants gets a little too much attention.
Tapping into a familiar hesitation among aspiring plant parents nationwide, the film takes a playful look at the world of plant parenting through Tiger’s childhood memories. As he looks back, his backflips, bodybuilding and quirky personality are hilariously attributed to his attempts to compete with his father’s plant babies for the spotlight.
Speaking about the campaign, Siddhant Bhalinge, Founder & CEO, Ugaoo, said, “At Ugaoo, we’ve always believed that plant parenting can be easy and enjoyable. With this film, we wanted to bring that belief to life, using Jackie’s genuine and well-known love for plants as a starting point, with Tiger adding his own perspective to the story in a fun, natural way.”
Reflecting on his association with Ugaoo, Jackie Shroff said, “Ugaoo and I have a natural synergy because plants have always been a big part of my life, and that’s exactly what the brand is bringing into more people’s lives. It’s been over a year, and I’ve enjoyed being part of it. I get to talk about something I truly care about, be myself and see more people discover the joy of plant parenting. That’s what makes this association
meaningful to me.”
In association with Jackie Shroff, Ugaoo further reinforces its position as a trusted destination for plant parents, with a diverse range of plants and gardening essentials designed to make plant care easier. This includes 100+ indoor plants nurtured with the right soil mix and slow-release fertilisers, statement XL plants, and pots across ceramic, wooden, plastic, metal, 3D-printed, FRP and self-watering formats. The range also extends to organic fertilisers, soil mixes, tools and watering solutions, while a 30-day plant replacement guarantee further adds to the convenience and confidence of the experience.
The film has been conceptualised and produced by Kulfi Collective, with White Rivers Media as their Digital media partner.
“Jackie sir's love for plants is already such a recognisable part of who he is, so we wanted to build the story around something that felt equally true to Tiger. The fun was in imagining that everything we know Tiger for today (the backflips, the fitness, even that incredible flexibility) was really just the result of a childhood spent competing with Jackie’s plants for attention. That gave us a playful way to weave a father-son story while landing the brand truth about Ugaoo: plant parenting today doesn’t have to demand quite so much of you," says Akshat Gupt, Director, CEO and Co-founder of Kulfi Collective.
"Having Jackie and Tiger play these exaggerated versions of themselves made the humour feel natural, and gave us plenty of room to push the absurdity. They were both such sports and really brought the concept to life!” he added.
At the heart of Ugaoo is a simple aim: to make it easier for people to bring nature into their homes. From its 25-acre farm in Talegaon, where plants are grown and carefully packaged in-house, to its 21 experiential stores across Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad, Ugaoo makes gardening accessible across India. With its website and presence across platforms such as Blinkit, Amazon, Flipkart, Pepperfry, and Varee, Ugaoo offers a seamless gardening experience for modern plant parents.
