August 2026: Raffles Udaipur, the 21-acre luxury resort set across a private island on Udai Sagar Lake, has been awarded its third consecutive Green Key Certification, reaffirming its commitment to environmental responsibility, sustainable operations and responsible luxury hospitality.

The internationally recognised Green Key certification recognises tourism establishments that meet rigorous standards for environmental management and sustainable operations, including energy and water conservation, waste management, sustainable procurement, environmental education and community engagement.

At Raffles Udaipur, sustainability is integrated into everyday operations and the resort's relationship with its natural surroundings. Set amidst lush landscapes and the Aravalli Hills, the lakeside resort continues to adopt responsible practices that conserve resources, reduce its environmental impact and preserve the natural character of its island setting.

Key initiatives include wastewater recycling and reuse for landscape irrigation, water-saving fixtures, energy conservation, waste reduction and sustainable purchasing. The resort has also introduced electric and battery-operated boats, electric transfers and battery-operated golf carts to support cleaner guest mobility.

Raffles Udaipur has reduced its reliance on single-use plastic by providing drinking water in reusable glass bottles across its luxury rooms and suites, fine dining venues and offices. These efforts complement its continued focus on responsible resource use and operational efficiency.
