Punjab & Sind Bank Celebrates 80th Independence Day with Flag Hoisting Ceremony

New Delhi, August 18, 2026: Punjab & Sind Bank celebrated the 80th Independence Day with a flag-hoisting ceremony led by Mr. Swarup Kumar Saha, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, marking the occasion by celebrating the nation’s journey of freedom, unity and progress.

The ceremony brought together the Bank’s higher officials, employees and their family members to commemorate the spirit of Independence Day and reaffirm their commitment to contributing to the nation’s continued growth and development.

The Bank also organised a tree plantation drive and a cultural programme featuring performances by children, staff and their family members, adding to the celebrations and reflecting the spirit of Independence Day
