Mumbai, 12 August 2026: On the occasion of International Youth Day, iMeUsWe released its User Behaviour Analysis of India's Youth Adopting Digital Astrology in India, highlighting how individuals aged 18–35 are increasingly turning to digital astrology for personalised guidance around important life decisions.
Young Indians are engaging with both AI and human astrologers, indicating that technology is expanding access to astrology without replacing the value of expert guidance. Users aged 18–35 account for 89% of AI astrologer consultations, compared with 87% of consultations with real astrologers, giving AI a marginally higher share of engagement among young users.
Relationship uncertainty remains the strongest driver of astrology consultations among young Indians. While users seek guidance across areas including relationships, career, family, education, spirituality, health and finance, marriage and relationship-related concerns account for 68% of all queries among users aged 18–35.
Career is the second-largest area of consultation, with 16% of queries focused on employment, career growth and professional decisions. Together, the patterns suggest that young users are increasingly turning to astrology not only to understand what may happen, but to seek reassurance and clarity around major personal and professional milestones "Young Indians today have more information at their fingertips than ever before, but questions around relationships, careers and life choices remain deeply personal. What we are seeing on our platform is that young users are turning to both human astrologers and AI-powered experiences for personalised perspectives during these important moments. The technology may be changing, but the need for clarity and guidance remains deeply human," said Vivek Desai, Co-Founder & Chairman, iMeUsWe.
Digital astrology is finding relevance beyond individual urban markets. The adoption of digital astrology among young Indians is geographically widespread, with meaningful participation across regions. North India and West & Central India together account for approximately 40% of young astrology users, indicating that this shift is not limited to a handful of urban markets.
The findings point to a broader shift in how young Indians engage with astrology, from seeking predictions about the future to using it as a personalised framework for navigating uncertainty in the present.
