Gurugram, 29th July, 2026: India's leading fintech platform, BASIC Home Loan, today announced its plans to establish 500 BASIC Finance Centres by 2029, significantly expanding its phygital footprint to make guided, technology-enabled home financing more accessible and drive financial inclusion across underserved housing markets.

The proposed network is expected to facilitate ₹50,000–60,000 crore in annual home loan disbursements. The rollout will initially focus on North, West and Central India, before expanding pan-India, with a strong emphasis on Tier II and Tier III markets and the affordable and mid-income housing segments.

India’s housing market is witnessing strong growth led by better infrastructure, connectivity, rising incomes and greater aspiration to own a home. Demand is being driven by first-time buyers, families wanting to upgrade to larger homes and professionals moving to emerging cities offering more affordable prices without losing out on connectivity or employment opportunities. Rapid infrastructure development, the expansion of industrial and business hubs, and the rise of hybrid work have further accelerated residential demand in these markets. Enhancing access to formal credit in underserved markets.

While digital adoption has increased the accessibility of home loans, many buyers still seek expert guidance in identifying the right lender to understand their eligibility, documentation and navigate the loan process. The growing network of Finance Centres of BASIC Home Loan will bridge this gap by leveraging local expertise with its AI-powered technology platform. Supported by strong lender partnerships, the model will enable faster approvals, higher conversion rates and a seamless home financing experience.

Explaining the rationale behind the rollout, Atul Monga, Co-founder & CEO, BASIC Home Loan, said, “Technology has simplified home financing, but trust and expert guidance remain equally important. Through 500 BASIC Finance Centres, we are building one of India's largest phygital housing finance networks, making home loans simpler, faster and more transparent for families across the country.”

As part of this expansion, BASIC Home Loan has already strengthened its presence in key housing markets through the launch of new BASIC Finance Centres in Jaipur, Chandigarh and Meerut among others.

Amardeep Sharma, Senior Director, BASIC Home Loan, added, “Our Finance Centre model combines strong local partnerships with BASIC's technology platform to deliver a seamless home financing experience. Our target is to launch 200 centres by the end of 2027, facilitating annual home loan disbursements of ₹15,000–20,000 crore. As we grow to 500 centres by 2029, we will expand our footprint in high-growth housing markets.”

Each BASIC Finance Centre is an authorised point of contact, bringing homebuyers onto the full platform of home loans offered by BASIC Home Loan. BASIC’s expert teams offer end-to-end fulfilment including customer profiling, lender selection, documentation, application processing and loan execution, with customers benefiting from personalised guidance throughout the homebuying journey.

The expansion will also deepen the partnership-led ecosystem of BASIC Home Loan by adding 400-500 new Finance Centre partners to allow local entrepreneurs and financial advisors to access the company’s technology platform, lender network and operational capabilities. The company will focus on onboarding quality partners with a strong market connect and provide continuous training, operational support and technology enablement to help them build sustainable financial services businesses.

BASIC Home Loan has served over 4,00,000 families, facilitated cumulative home loans of more than ₹50,000 crore as of 31 March 2026, built a network of over 30,000 Agents and set up 120+ BASIC Finance Centres across the country.
