San Diego, CA, 24 January 2026: ReadyBid, the global leader in hotel RFP and hotel sourcing automation, has announced the formation of the Global Sustainability Partnership Alliance (GSPA) - a strategic initiative uniting corporations, hotel groups, and travel management companies to accelerate responsible sourcing practices and environmental accountability in global hotel procurement.
The alliance aims to create a collaborative ecosystem where technology, transparency, and sustainability intersect to redefine the future of corporate travel procurement. Powered by ReadyBid’s advanced hotel sourcing tool and Smart Sustainability Index, the GSPA provides a shared data framework for members to benchmark environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and collectively drive measurable impact.
Joseph Friedmann, President & CEO of ReadyBid, explained, “Sustainability in procurement isn’t a solo effort - it’s a shared mission. Through this alliance, we’re connecting data, technology, and purpose to make sustainable sourcing achievable for every organization and supplier in the hotel industry.”
The GSPA brings together leading global hotel chains, travel management companies, and Fortune 500 corporations committed to integrating sustainability into their procurement workflows. Using ReadyBid’s hotel RFP tool and hotel RFP templates, alliance members can evaluate bids not only on rate competitiveness but also on carbon footprint, waste reduction, and community engagement scores.
The initiative will also create a universal sustainability reporting standard for hotel procurement, simplifying ESG audits for enterprises managing multi-region sourcing programs. ReadyBid’s hotel sourcing tool will serve as the central platform for real-time data exchange, ensuring every stakeholder operates from a single source of truth.
“Procurement is becoming a strategic sustainability driver,” Friedmann noted. “The alliance helps corporations move from intention to action - transforming sustainability from a compliance metric into a performance advantage.”
The GSPA will hold its first annual summit in Amsterdam in March 2026, where members will unveil a roadmap for industry-wide sustainability integration. Key topics include carbon data interoperability, ESG automation, and the future of responsible hotel bidding powered by AI.
This alliance strengthens ReadyBid’s leadership not only as a technology provider but as a global sustainability enabler, helping corporations and suppliers unite under a common goal: smarter, fairer, and greener hotel procurement.
