Mumbai: At a time when public discourse is dominated by civic elections and daily headlines, a film teaser has managed to cut through the noise and command widespread attention. The teaser-trailer of Mayasabha – The Hall of Illusion has created a massive buzz across digital platforms, clocking impressive viewership numbers within minutes of its release and going viral across millions of mobile screens.
Following the cult success of Tumbbad, filmmaker Rahi Anil Barve returns with his second Hindi feature, Mayasabha – The Hall of Illusion. The teaser-trailer, unveiled recently, has sparked intense curiosity and conversation on social media, with audiences flooding platforms with reactions and comments.
Packed with mystery, magic and suspense, the teaser has left viewers captivated. Responses across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) describe the film as “the next cult in the making,” “the most mysterious cinematic experience after Tumbbad,” “visually striking with a unique concept,” and “a film that demands a theatrical viewing.”
The excitement around Mayasabha has quickly spread among film enthusiasts, critics and members of the film fraternity, positioning it as one of the most keenly anticipated releases of the season.
One of the teaser’s biggest talking points is Jaaved Jaaferi, who appears in a completely unexpected and serious avatar—unlike anything audiences have seen from him before. His look and brief performance glimpse have generated strong reactions, with many calling it potentially the most intense and unconventional role of his career.
The film also stars Veena Jamkar, Deepak Damle, and Mohammad Samad, forming a strong ensemble cast. Cinematography is handled by Kuldeep Mamania, while the background score is composed by Sagar Desai. Ashish Ningurkar serves as the film’s Creative Consultant.
An extraordinary blend of thrill, magic and mystery, Mayasabha promises not just a film, but a distinct cinematic experience—one that demands to be witnessed on the big screen. With the intrigue generated by its teaser, striking visuals and unconventional concept, the film is set for a theatrical release on 30 January 2026 and is already being tipped as one of the most talked-about releases of the year, with strong expectations of an impressive opening at the box office.
Mayasabha – The Hall of Illusion is produced by Girish Patel and Ankoor J Singh, with Zircon Films as the production house and Pickle Entertainment (Sameer Dixit and Hrishikesh Bhirangi) presenting the film. Co-producers include Shamrao Bhagwan Yadav, Chanda Yadav, Keval Handa, and Manish Handa. The film will be released across India by Pickle Entertainment in association with UFO Moviez.
