Mumbai, August 20, 2025: Shyam Metalics, an integrated metal producing company marked the 79th Independence Day with great pride and patriotic spirit across all its units, where employees, their families, and local communities came together to honour the nation’s journey of freedom. From West Bengal to Odisha, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, each unit of the company celebrated the occasion with the ceremonial hoisting of the Tricolour, cultural programmes, and activities that reflected the spirit of unity, responsibility, and progress.

In West Bengal, the Jamuria unit witnessed a spirited parade and vibrant cultural performances at Dhashna, with children of employees adding charm and energy to the program. Senior leaders addressed the gathering, and a recognition ceremony applauded outstanding employee contributions. At Kharagpur, the Tricolour was unfurled, followed by a drawing competition for children and distribution of sweets, nurturing patriotic values in the younger generation. In Odisha, the Sambalpur plant carried special significance with parades and the announcement of a green initiative to plant 20,000 saplings this year, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainability. In Uttar Pradesh, Mangalpur resonated with patriotic songs and parades, uniting employees in solidarity. In Jharkhand, the Pakuria Aluminium plant hosted cultural programmes and flag hoisting, while Giridih saw both the Aluminium and Crash Barrier plants hold gatherings and ceremonies to mark the occasion. In Madhya Pradesh, the Indore Stainless-Steel plants came alive with parades, cultural events, and family participation, reflecting pride and the true spirit of independence.
