Dale and Rosanna Mouser Announce A Gripping Supernatural Thriller

Dale and Rosanna Mouser unveil "SOUL-JACKED," a captivating thriller that delves into the eerie intersection of life, death, and the supernatural. Based on Dale Mouser's novel, this screenplay plunges viewers into a world where souls are vulnerable, and the line between reality and the paranormal blurs.
Set against the backdrop of Albuquerque, New Mexico, "SOUL-JACKED" opens with a dramatic thunderstorm that triggers a chilling phenomenon in the ICU of Albuquerque Regional Medical Center. As lightning strikes, the souls of patients on life support are momentarily ripped from their bodies, setting in motion a series of unsettling events.

The story centers on Professor Grayson Lane, a marathoner recovering from a near-fatal accident. As Grayson battles for consciousness, his world collides with that of Zuri O'Dell, a determined bartender and aspiring potter, and State Senator Domingo Cruz, a powerful figure with dark intentions.
When Zuri visits Grayson, she encounters Cruz, whose wife is also hospitalized. Cruz, known for his influence and wealth, offers Zuri a Faustian bargain: her soul for a successful art career. Zuri vehemently refuses, but Cruz's obsession with her deepens, leading to a dangerous game of manipulation and control.
As Grayson's recovery progresses, he experiences terrifying psychopompic dreams involving Sophia Cruz, the senator's deceased wife. These dreams hint at a deeper, supernatural connection, suggesting that Sophia's soul is trapped and seeking Grayson's help to resolve unfinished business.

Meanwhile, Cruz's relentless pursuit of Zuri escalates, culminating in her abduction and a chilling ultimatum. He threatens to destroy Grayson's career with fabricated sexual misconduct allegations unless Zuri agrees to a year-long affair. Zuri, torn between her integrity and her love for Grayson, is forced to make a harrowing choice.

"SOUL-JACKED" masterfully weaves elements of suspense, romance, and the supernatural, creating a compelling narrative that explores themes of sacrifice, power, and the fragility of the human soul. The Mousers' vivid storytelling and well-developed characters draw the audience into a world where the stakes are high, and the consequences are eternal.

Dale and Rosanna Mouser bring a wealth of creative talent to this project. Dale, the original author, has crafted a story that resonates with readers, while Rosanna's contributions enhance the screenplay's emotional depth and visual storytelling.

"We wanted to create a story that not only entertains but also makes the audience think about the unseen forces that may influence our lives," says Dale Mouser. "SOUL-JACKED" is a blend of suspense and supernatural mystery that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats."

"SOUL-JACKED" is poised to captivate audiences with its unique blend of suspense, supernatural elements, and compelling characters. This screenplay is a testament to the Mousers' storytelling prowess and their ability to create a world where the line between the living and the dead is terrifyingly thin.
