GJC announces 12th edition of National Jewellery Awards 2023

18th May 2023: All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC), the national apex body of the gems and jewellery industry, has announced the 12th edition of National Jewellery Awards (NJA). Known for its stand for craft, devotion, and motivation for the industry, NJA is considered to be Industry's biggest and widest award show that recognizes all sector of the industry and offers a platform where true talent of the industry is appreciated and encourage to stimulate growth and creativity in the industry. The Grand Finale of NJA will be held on 1st October 2023 in Mumbai.

The 12th edition of NJA will be judged by panel of renowned industry experts. It is an excellent platform for all aspiring jewellers who want to make it big in the field of jewellery. This year, we have introduced new categories & we expect more entries than ever before. NJA will have six award segments which are further divided into 34 sub-categories to cover all segments of the jewellery industry starting from students, designers, jewellery awards, store awards, women entrepreneurs, and special awards such as industries highest recognition Anmol Ratna Award, thus encouraging the entire value chain of the Gems & Jewellery Industry.

Mr. Saiyam Mehra, Chairman, GJC, said, "NJA 2023 will stimulate growth and facilitate progress of the gem & jewellery industry. NJA nurtures creativity and honours innovation while showcasing the best-of-India. It inspires passion, craftsmanship and devotion to the art and science of 'Make in India' jewellery manufacturing and retailing. It attracts young talent for the industry and inspires them to prove their talent to their peers. NJA also brings India's craftsmen and artisans to the centre-stage and honours their role and efforts in continuing the illustrious legacy of India's jewellery business."

Mr. Rajesh Rokde, Vice Chairman GJC, said, "The 12th edition of the prestigious National Jewellery Awards is held on the side-lines of India Gems & Jewellery Show (GJS). NJA is one of the several prestigious initiatives by GJC encourages to motivate the industry and trade while they seek to increase business through tough times. NJA provides a platform for the talented and the persistent players in the gem and jewellery business to showcase and showcase their talent on a national platform."

Mr. Sunil Poddar, Convener NJA, Said, "This year, the NJA will be grandeur. We are targeting a greater number of participations from across the sector. We have added some more categories to make the awards appealing to the jewellers. I urge the entire Gems & Jewellery Industry to support and participate in NJA in large numbers."

National Jewellery Awards is known for its transparency and authenticity. One of the big 4 consultancy firm has been appointed as the process advisors to ensure that the awards are conducted in the most transparent way and the results are unbiased.
