India Energy Storage Week 2023 Kick-started on Day 1 with Informative Technical Sessions

New Delhi, May 1st, 2023: The week-long India Energy Storage Week 2023 begins today on May 1st, 2023 with speakers, delegates and others, attending from across the nation and other countries as well. The event opens with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, by the hands of noted dignitaries present during the event.

The entire knowledge-sharing sessions were arranged under two parallel tracks, where distinguished technical experts from their respective fields were invited to present their view. The Session 1 of Track 1 starts with the opening remarks from Dr. Rahul Walawalkar, President, IESA & Customised Energy Solutions. Other speakers who presented during this session included Dr. Aravind Kumar Chandiran from IIT Madras; Dr. Bijoy Kumar Das, Scientist; Dr. Abhilash, Principal Scientist, AcSIR; Dr. Manne Venkateswarlu, Director of Customised Energy Solutions; Dr. Abhik Banerjee, Scientist, TCG Crest and Dr. Milind Kulkarni, Scientist from CMET.

On the other hand, the Track starts with the Session 1 on the topic of Microgrid Collaboration. The Session of Energy Storage ? Project financing inTrack 2 witnessed several important panelists who gave important tips on successful project financing.

The Testing & Certification Session in Track 1 was also very crucial to help maintain the quality standards that Indian manufacturers from the energy storage sector must adhere to. The opening remark was given by Debi Prasad Dash, who is the Executive Director of IESA. Other panelists in this session were August Dubey, Scientis of BIS; Sadaf Arif Siddiqui, GM of Keysight Technologies and Teja Addala, Solution Engineer of Keysight Technologies.

The Battery Swapping & Battery As A Service Forum at the India Energy Storage Week came out with valuable points that can bolster the growth of the electric vehicle industry in India. In this session, speakers who presented their views included Gurusharan Dhillon, Director e-mobility of ET India; Randheer Singh from NITI Aayog; Pulkit Khurana, Co-founder, Battery Smart; Nikhil Bhatia, Co-founder, Hop Electric Mobility; and Varun Goenka, Chief Driving Officer of Charge-up.

The Forum on Battery Recycling & Circular Economy was another important session that can drive the EV sector in the country. This session witnessed presentations and deliberations from Debi Prasad Dash; A L N Rao, CEO of Exigo Recycling; Utkarsh Singh, CEO of BatX; Anirudh Mathur, Chief of Staff, Ace Green Recycling and Pratyush Sinha, VP, Lohum Cleantech.

After a successful and exciting day at Shangri-La Eros at New Delhi, all participants, speakers, technical experts and panelists will again join the event tomorrow at the NDMC Convention Center, New Delhi for yet another day, full of informative sessions.
