Introducing Balfour Senior Living: Enhancing the Ann Arbor Community with a New Element of Senior Care

Balfour Senior Living is a community in Ann Arbor that is proud to offer a new opportunity to its residents. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, they had not been able to implement this idea until now. The community has been designed to provide one complimentary apartment to a University of Michigan student in exchange for their participation in various activities with the residents. The student will be expected to perform, lecture, host discussion groups, and participate in activities or excursions for approximately 12-15 hours per week. This new initiative is intended to enhance the social and intellectual engagement of Balfour Senior Living's residents and to provide an opportunity for a University of Michigan student to gain valuable experience while giving back to the community.

We are seeking students with backgrounds in fields such as Musical Theater, Music, Dance, Geriatrics, and Social Work to join our team and help enhance the lives of our residents.
