Femina's March 2023 issue celebrates women in music

13th March 2023: Music has long been a source of comfort, joy, inspiration, and expression. In its March 2023 issue, Femina recognizes women in music for their achievements and the role they have played in our lives.

This special issue spotlights women in music across the spectrum ? legendary artistes such as Asha Bhosle, Usha Uthup, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Falguni Pathak, and Alka Yagnik; contemporary showstoppers such as Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Rani KoHEnur; regional talents such as Isaivani and Lorna Cordeiro; musicians such as Nush Lewis and Anuradha Pal; and women of Indian origin such as Anoushka Shankar and Raveena Aurora. Each of their profiles draws readers in with a detailing of the trajectory of their success and offers three recommendations that will help listeners access their brilliance.

Representative of these women who have made their mark on the soundscape of the nation, cover stars Sukriti Kakar, Jonita Gandhi, Prakriti Kakar, Dhvani Bhanushali, Tulsi Kumar, Nikhita Gandhi, Asees Kaur, and Monali Thakur, too, have made massive strides in the music industry.
