21st September 2022: Music transcends boundaries with its influence. Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent artists and their creations, presents their latest bilingual song, Dhul. The King of Melody in Bollywood, Kumar Sanu joins London artist Biswajit Nanda to create this engaging song with music composer Suryajyoti Raja and lyricist Niladri Chakraborty.

Sung in Hindi and Bengali, Dhul has an intense take on the philosophy of life and the transience of every mortal desire and possession. With impactful lyrics by Niladri Chakraborty and a reverberating composition by Suryajyoti Raja, the song evokes a major question of consequence "when we have come from this earth and go into the earth after death, why do we have ego?"

Sharing her thoughts on the song, Soumini Sridhara Paul, Senior Vice President, Hungama Artist Aloud, says, "Hungama Artist Aloud has carved a niche as a platform upholding rare talents and creations of independent artists. We are ecstatic to have the legendary Kumar Sanu on board, who has shared his inimitable vocals with London based talented indie artist Biswajit Nanda for the song. We are hopeful that 'Dhul' will resonate with the audience and have an impact on the music industry."

On his second innings, Kumar Sanu shared, "Music has been my lifeblood, and in my decades of experience in industries across the country, rarely have I come across songs as versatile as Dhul. The song builds a cultural bridge between Hindi and Bengali music lovers on a strong theme. I hope that the song is well-received by the audience and I'm delighted to work with Biswajit Nanda, Suryajyoti Raja, and Niladri Chakraborty, whose contributions to the song have amplified its meaning."

Speaking about his collaboration with Kumar Sanu, Biswajit Nanda, said, "Dhul is my gift to all music lovers and I can't be any more fortunate than having the great Kumar Sanu lend his vocals to this song and make it a wholesome musical treat. I'm excited for the release and I believe that the underlining notions of the song, replete with its lyrics, will leave a mark with the listeners across the country."
