Amity Global School Celebrates 75 Years of Independence with Colourful Events

Noida, 17th August 2022: As India observed Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, marking the completion of 75 years of independence on 15 August 2022, the celebration at Amity Global School ? the best IB school in Noida - became an occasion to remember.

Students from all grades participated in different activities to make the day special. They had started their preparations well in advance by making posters displaying the tricolour, patriotic slogans, and pictures that represent India?s rich culture. The entire campus was elegantly decorated and looked a perfect podium for Amrit Mahotsav celebrations endorsed throughput the country.

In one of the activities, the students held dupattas of saffron, white and green colours in various patterns to display the national flag creatively. They won the appreciation of their fellow students, teachers and school management. Pictures of students holding these lovely dupattas have been shared on Amity Global School?s social media profiles.

As one the top IB schools of Delhi NCR, Amity Global is known to follow inquiry-based approach to learning and teaching. Students are encouraged to think critically and express their thoughts independently. Independence Day festivities gave them a special opportunity to exercise these skills.
The students presented their views on valour, nationalism and the concept of Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) that was popularised during the first wave of COVID-19 in 2020.

Their eloquent communication skills and depth of thoughts showed how connected the young generation - currently in schools - feels to the issues of national interest. They talked about Indian history, the struggles that finally led to freedom from colonial rule, the people who made independence possible, and the achievers who are now helping the country make its mark in different fields.

The function included reciting of the national anthem and patriotic poems and songs that symbolise spirit of love for the country. The school management appreciated everyone?s performance and their contribution in making the event successful.

The occasion was extra special for everyone considering the fact that the pandemic had forced the school to observe 15th August virtually for the past two years. The completion of 75 years of independence was a great milestone to commemorate with everyone in the campus.
