India, August, 2022: The AmorePacific group, one of the world’s leading cosmetic giants, that houses innisfree, Laneige, Sulwhasoo & Etude collaborated with Korean Tourism Organisation to host a K-Karnival in New Delhi on August 5, 2022. Korea Tourism Organization, New Delhi office is the tourism arm of the Republic of Korea under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and is mainly responsible for tourism promotion activities in India and neighboring SAARC countries. The event was an attempt to bridge the gap between the two countries and provided an immersive platform for the guests to soak in the K-experience. The event was hosted at the innisfree store, Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj.
The entire event was curated and planned keeping South Korea and Korean culture in mind with fun activities and quizzes to enthrall the media, influencers, and customers. The highlight of the event was a a chance to “Fly to Korea” on purchase of INR 2500 and above from the innsifree store.
The event was divided into four zones K-Culture, K-Drama, K-Beauty, and K-Pop Challenge. The Korean Beauty and experience zone provided the guests with the best of K-Beauty. Dalgona Cookie Challenge from the popular “Squid Game” fame made things more challenging yet fun for attendees, and an opportunity to make a statement by getting clicked in Hanbok, which is the traditional Korean Dress. It also hosted fun Korean quizzes and two beauty Masterclasses with AmorePacific Beauty Experts, and Manveen Kaur, MUA and Beauty Creator.
The demand for K-Beauty has fueled in the past few years, and AmorePacific has played a vital role in accomplishing this. Stepping into the industry with innisfree, and unveiling some amazing products, it has expanded with Laneige, Sulwhasoo, and Etude, acting as 4 pillars to achieve glowing and healthy skin.
