Tree of Life, Resorts and Hotels, an experiential resort chain with 14 properties across India, has announced the opening of ‘Junoon in the Hills’ in a remote village halfway between Nainital and Ranikhet in the Kumaon Hills. This boutique resort is perfect for mesmerizing views and charming countryside getaway to the mountains of Nainital.

The brand has the finest collection of luxury boutique experiences to unwind, relax, and re-discover yourself. The concept behind the chain is to have intimate and serene setups, close to and yet away from cities. Currently, Tree of Life has 14 beautiful properties across Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.

Tree of Life Junoon in the Hills is set over three acres of land with six accommodations, with magnificent views of the countryside. Each room is about 200- 260 square feet that has its own attached bathroom including a rain shower and running hot and cold water. In the summer, there are many windows to let the breeze in, and air-conditioners to keep you cool for the occasional warm day. The drawing rooms are equipped with heated floors and electric blanket to keep you cozy in winters. The property has a wood-burning stove and an open fireplace in the drawing room for you to relish their home style delicacies.

Making the important announcement, Akhil Anand, director at Tree of Life, Resorts and Hotels, says “As we continue to expand our footprints across the country, this is the second property launched to date this year. In response to the rapidly growing demand for private Villas and Cottages, in early 2021, we created a new brand called Tree of Life Collections to cater to this segment. This brand offers unique and private Villas in offbeat destinations which allow you to reconnect with nature and your loved ones. Inventory sizes are between 3 and 6 rooms with large common and outdoor areas. This makes it an ideal destination for a group of 6 to 12 people to book such destinations exclusively for themselves. All services would be tailor-made based on the group’s individual requirements. Tree of Life Junoon in The Hills is our fourth property under this brand and we expect to take this number to about 15 within the next two years.”

You may go for long walks along the country side to grasp the mesmerizing view of snow-capped Himalayas in the winter or trail through small villages all the way down to the stream at Garampani. Explore Nainital, Ranikhet and Almora in case of an extended trip.

Tree of Life Junoon in the Hills, Kumaon is at 8-9 hours’ drive from Delhi and best suited for travellers seeking for a utopia far removed from the pressures of everyday living.
