Signumart - A new NFT portal on the Signum blockchain

On the 2nd of May 2022 the Signum-Network started its own NFT portal providing artists a green alternative to mint, buy, and sell NFTs.

Powered by the underlying sustainable blockchain technology from Signum, anyone can use the portal without hesitation to show the world their unique digital arts.

Decentralised and serverless
The portal is using a decentralized storage of the data for the NFT with IPFS and Pinata.cloud. In addition, the setup of the portal is completely serverless and able to manage thousands of millions of requests.

The logic of the NFT to buy, sell, transfer, give it a Like and even more is managed by the smart contract logic build on the Signum chain.

And unlike other blockchains, Signum is not storing the same smart contract over and over again, instead the code is stored only once on the chain. When an artist deploys a contract the code is a transaction reference which costs no space on the chain and only the data stack which is used to handle the logic of the NFT is individually saved to the chain.

Using this smart approach makes the minting of NFTs on Signum incredibly affordable ? with only 0,4 Signa (currently 0,0024 $).

We believe no other chain can beat this taking into account that Signum is truly sustainable and nearly C02 neutral, with a fixed minimum fee of 0.01 Signa.

Easy onboarding to the portal
The portal is built by the current Signum-Network development team, but the input and the feedback loops together with the Signum community in the last 3 months, while creating the MVP (Minimum viable Product), was amazing.

Finally, we even did much more than a MVP and the portal has a wonderful user experience to onboard new artists or collectors.
