Eminent Poets joined together and recited poems for the delightful event, PragatiE Vichaar Poetry Festival, organised by Frontlist.

Frontlist organised PragatiE Vichaar Poetry Festival, a mystical gathering of bards with mesmerising poetry recitations and enlightening panel discussions.


To celebrate World Poetry Day, Frontlist organised PragatiE Vichaar Poetry Festival on 21st May 2022. It was a delightful virtual festival held for poetry connoisseurs in reverence of literature, art, and poetry. It was hosted on the PragatiE, best virtual exhibition platform. A total number of 27 eminent poets joined together on the platform and recited their fascinating poems, followed by an enlightening discussion on specific topics.

A list of sessions was lined up on various interesting topics based on which the poets recited their poems and engaged in a discussion. The 9 sessions in total consisted of three poetry themes- Lyric Poetry, Narrative Poetry, and Dramatic Poetry. The sessions were inclusive of Hindi, English, and Urdu languages.

PragatiE Vichaar Poetry Festival conducted a Poetry Contest to promote emerging and unpublished bards and their best-crafted poems. Participants were required to submit two of their best poems, and the winners were allowed to get their poetry published in an anthology book with Prints Publications. Numerous entries were received for the contest. The much-anticipated winners' announcement was made at the event, where 22 poets were selected. They won the opportunity of getting their poetry published, and their anthology book will be published soon.

The event was sponsored by Prints Publications and supported by the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP) and the Indian Reprographic Rights Organisation.
