Mumbai, October 01, 2021: On World Mental Health Day, October 10, 2021, ‘Talk To Me’, a not-for-profit organization devoted exclusively to mental health, is hosting a Walk-A-Thon to spread awareness about the interconnection of mental and physical health. The walk will commence at 6:30 a.m. from Carter Road, Khar Danda and end at Amphitheatre (Bandstand), Bandra.
Considering the pandemic has led to a sharp fall in physical activities and an uptick in stress and depression, resulting in poor health overall. This Walk-A-Thon will prove to be an exercise for participants to understand the importance of taking proper care of their physical and mental health. Besides, via this event, ‘Talk To Me’ will pay to support therapy for those who cannot afford it, with the funds raised.
On completion of this nearly 5 kilometers’ long walk, ‘Talk To Me’ will also reward with special hampers to individuals who finish the walk in the first three positions by the Chief Guests, Shri. Sandeep Karnik and Shri. Dnyaneshwar Ganore.
This World Mental Health Day let’s pledge to invest in mental and physical wellness with ‘Talk To Me’!
