FIITJEE Offers Fee Waiver to support Students Who Have Lost Their Parent due-to Pandemic Covid-19

New Delhi: 06 July 2021:?FIITJEE, a premier National institute for IIT/JEE preparation, has taken an initiative to offer Fee Waiver to students who have lost either of their parents or both due to COVID 19 pandemic. As a dedicated and student centric organization, FIITJEE would like to support these students in realizing the dreams of their parents and achieving the pinnacle of success.

FIITJEE, through this initiative, has decided to assist fresh as well as already enrolled students who lost their father or mother or both parents due to COVID- 19. This move will help students in fulfilling their dreams and reducing the looming hardships. FIITJEE has decided to do its bit in aiding students regain hope of future and life.

To claim the benefit under this Policy, Students will have to submit the following related documents:
*Death certificate of the parent/s (period of death must be after March 2020 and reason should be Covid-19 only.?

*Last year ITR or last 3 months payslip of the parent expired due to Covid-19 as an income proof that the expired parent was earning member for student who lost both parents due to COVID-19 after March 2020 or lost the only parent (other parent had earlier expired or in case of single parent ; or in case where Student lost one parent who was the only earning member, but another parent is still alive and also in case Student lost one parent who was earning member, but the other parent is still alive and also earning

*Affidavit on the Rs. 50 non judicial stamp paper that other parent is not earning at the time of Enrolment, in case Student lost one parent who was the only earning member, but another parent is still alive.

The Intent is to ensure that all eligible students who wish to join FIITJEE as per the existing selection and enrolment policy, and who have lost their parent (single or both) during this Pandemic Covid -19 are welcomed to join FIITJEE with reduced financial burden, to realize the dream of their parents. As a dedicated and student centric organization, FIITJEE has decided to support these students in fulfilling the dreams of their parents and achieving the pinnacle of success??said RL Trikha, Director, FIITJEE Group.

?However, the student must qualify our admission test as per the current process or seek direct admission based on past performance in competitive exams as per the current admission process of FIITJEE. In case of fresh student appearing in the Admission Test, Registration Fee will be refunded to these eligible students at the time of enrolment.?

?Our initiative to provide Fee Waiver/ Covid Scholarship to even already enrolled students, who lost either of their parents or both to the pandemic, allows students to resume their preparation and work towards achieving their goal.?
?We want to support them academically and financially in the preparation process. ?

?During these unfortunate times, we assure students that we are there for them to help them turn their dream into reality. Hence, FIITJEE has taken a conscious call to accommodate students affected by the Covid-19 pandemic providing them Fee Waiver/ Covid Scholarship to prepare them for the exams.? Mr. Trikha added.

?During these unprecedented times, we take it as our responsibility and as a noble cause to support and encourage future engineers as well as other professionals. This initiative is to help the students who are adversely affected by COVID with loss of parent(s) and wish to fulfill dreams of their parents of clearing competitive exams like IIT-JEE. We at FIITJEE are trying to bring back some balance to the lives of the affected students whose studies had gone for a toss owing to the crisis. Our heart goes out to all those who have been affected by this disaster. We are trying to cover all students who really need it? he further added.
