IIM Udaipur commences 09-day long virtual engagement and learning program for the incoming MBA batch

June 21st, 2021; Udaipur: Indian Institute of Management Udaipur commenced Unnati '21 - the annual Engagement and Learning Program for the incoming MBA batch of 2021-23.

The 9-day long program launched on June 19th 2021 will witness the participation of the Institute?s Director, a distinguished Member of the Board of Governors, an Industry Leader, Dean (Programs), Faculty, Student Clubs and Alumni, leading sessions till June 27th, 2021.

The theme for Unnati ?21 is 'Defying the Challenging Times', which focuses on how the business world is learning to adapt and advance in challenging circumstances? including the present-day pandemic. The changes that were only business simulations have become a reality; the present is a novel synergist.?Interactions with different stakeholders of IIM Udaipur via webinars, interactive sessions, and engaging activities, brings up reflections of personal journeys to help students understand their strengths.

In Parichay ? the launchpad of the event, Prof. Janat Shah, Director, IIM Udaipur, said, ?This is the ideal time for the management aspirants to reflect on their aspirations and goals and embark on the transformational journey at IIM Udaipur. We intend to give you a warm welcome into the IIMU Community and accelerate the learning process by providing an interactive platform with the various stakeholders of the institute and industry leaders.?

He further added, ?Unnati is an opportunity for you to gain valuable insights from the Board of Governors, Faculty, Alumni, Industry Leader, and current students to clarify your expectations for yourself, the institute, and the two years ahead of you.?

The inaugural session was also accompanied by Prof. Sandhya Bhatia, Dean (Programs). She welcomed the audience and enthusiastically answered all the queries of the incoming students.?

This year, IIM Udaipur will be hosting Mr. Harsha Bhogle, eminent Sports Commentator and Journalist and Mr. Sameer Satpathy, CEO, Personal Care ITC Ltd, among other guests. The program is exclusively designed for the incoming MBA batch of 2021-23.

Mr. Harsha Bhogle, who is also a distinguished Board Member of IIM Udaipur, will address the IIMU fraternity on the topic ?Preparedness for Challenges.??

Emergence Learning Solutions will conduct a workshop on 'Growth Mindset' for the next three days, and student representatives from various clubs and communities will hold interaction on the fourth day of the program.?

The event will be concluded with Mr. Sameer Satpathy?s address on ?Reimagining Opportunities?.

The program also encompasses interactions with senior faculty, student club representatives and alumni, who would? share their campus to corporate journey.
