GSMA Announces International Travel Authorization for MWC21 Barcelona

The GSMA and the Spain Ministry of the Interior have declared the terms of a contract that will enable all MWC2021 Barcelona enrollees ? such as exhibitors, visitors, promoters, and partners ? to access Spain to attend an event in particular.

While any national from a nation from outside the EU is currently denied entry to Spain, there are exemptions for specific categories of citizens, such as "highly skilled employees." MWC21 Barcelona registrants are now included in this group as a result of the Spanish government's decision.

As we manage rapidly changing situations, the health and safety of everyone engaged in MWC Barcelona 2021, both in Spain and beyond, remains our top priority. To encourage entry into Spain, all participants from outside the European Union and Schengen Area should consider the strict procedure:

Use the MWC 2021 Barcelona Registration Process to complete an online enrollment for the case.

All people applying for admission to Spain must be registered appropriately for MWC 2021 Barcelona.

- The GSMA could provide necessary information to a Spanish government for visa and immigration enforcement requirements after finishing enrollment.

You will obtain an MWC Barcelona 2021 Attendance Confirmation once your registration is complete. Please bring this with you and when approaching your embassy or visa-issuing authorities and when traveling to the case.
