14th Edition of the International Women’s Day Awards by Public Diplomacy Forum in collaboration with Narmadeshwari

New Delhi, 8th March 2021 - Women have paved the way for excellence in every field they step into and to reward their hard work and enthusiasm, Mrs. Ratan Kaul, Founder and President of Public Diplomacy Forum, in collaboration with Riya Rastogi, CEO of Narmadeshwari has hosted an exclusive event at The Claridges on Monday, March 8, 2021, for the true celebration of "STREE SHAKTI." The core theme of the event was to recognize Outstanding Women Achievers of 2021, with a special emphasis on rewarding and recognizing Covid warriors. Women, the real 'ashtabhujas,' had to bear the brunt of the pandemic, juggling family, jobs, and life in all its myriad manifestations.

The goal of this event was to inspire the success of our Awardees to encourage, motivate, and empower women. Ms. Anjalee Kapoor (Fashion Designer), Asha Kamal Modi (Jewellery Design), Jyotika Jhalani (Fashion Entrepreneur), Karishhma Lamba (Motivational Blogger - GirlOnHotWheels), Neelima Dalmia Adhar (Author), Neha Khanna (Media), Riya Rastogi (Legal Professional and Social Entrepreneur), Saskia Rao (Music), Shilani Sadh (Digital Diva), Shaunali Nanda (Interior Design) and Supta Basu (Publishing) were the women honored with awards in excellence.

The event was graced by the presence of eminent personalities like Honorable Doctor Shashi Tharoor, Honourable Padma Vibhushan Dr. Sonal Mansingh, Shri Dinesh K Patnaik (Director General at ICCR), Smt Tara Gandhi, and Doctor Annurag Batra (Chairman and Editor In Chief Business World).

Designed to be a blend of elegance and charm, the UN-designated event is the perfect platform to launch the brand Narmadeshwari that is working for the empowerment of the most vulnerable and disenfranchised sections of society through textiles. Narmadeshwari and Public Diplomacy Forum have twinning philosophies of building a strong nation in order for India to emerge as a true global leader.
