Integrative Family Medicine Welcomed Dr. Aneela Cox to Their Team

Integrative Family Medicine is pleased to announce they welcomed Dr. Ameela Cox to their team in September. Dr. Cox takes an individualized, integrative approach to the care she provides, allowing her to fit right in with the rest of the team.

Dr. Cox grew up developing a passion for the healing arts and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she studied genetics and African studies. During her undergraduate program, she went on a medical tour in Uganda and then went on to attend medical school in her hometown of Buffalo. She later completed a 200 hour teacher training program for yoga at the Asheville Yoga Center. She attended a robust integrative medical program at the University of Arizona and completed a fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in Tucson.

As part of the Integrative Family Medicine team, she takes a physical, emotional and spiritual approach to the care she provides to her patients. Her goal is to create an environment that cultivates healing and helps her patients through any health challenges they may experience through a well-rounded approach.
