Pawan Kapoor , National Delegate of CIOFF INDIA (Official Partner of Unesco) and Gen. Sec. of Charu Castle Foundation expressed that in the current time - ?Culture Connects Communities? A mission to continue to involve the audience from India and beyond boundary ? Charu Castle Foundation (CCF) (Ghaziabad) & CIOFF ? INDIA section (Official partner of UNESCO) coming together to host Online ?20th Global Folk Dance Festival? on 20th/ 21st /22nd September 2020 , event dedicated to the Folk Dances one of the ICH element inscribed by UNESCO.

The ?20th Global Folk Dance Festival? will be telecasted on Facebook pages of CCF and CIOFF? INDIA and also linked to other participating groups from more than 15 nations on 20th/ 21st /22nd September 2020.
The festival supports the aim and the duty of CIOFF? is safeguarding, promotion and diffusion of traditional culture and folklore.
In the time of Pandemic ? IT plays an important role to connect the world in lockdown and express continually.
The 20th Global Folk Dance Festival, to be participated by the countries from all continents showcasing their rich Culture, Costume and melodious music. A platform to witness the colours of traditions where travelling is banned and no festival around the world.
Chairman of CCF said, Culture is the backbone of our society and its transmission from one generation to other is important and these festivals and fairs plays a very important role in transmission of knowledge and understanding of culture. Every country culture is unique and a learning to everyone, we must understand the cultures beyond boundaries and appreciate the culture bonding.
Philippe Beaussant, President of CIOFF? said the aim to promote the culture with the various activities is one of the major work, that bring the culture alive and peace among participants. Cioff? is also celebrating its 50th Anniversary ? Its activities not only promoted the Culture but also booted Tourism and supporting the economy as many activities are included in more than 100 countries round the year.
