Foundation of Healthcare & Wellness Promotion (FHWP) Announced its Governing Body Election Results

New Delhi ? June 18, 2020 ? Foundation of Healthcare & Wellness Promotion (FHWP), India, today announced that it has appointed a new governing body post-election. The foundation welcomes Mr. Dalip Kumar Chopra as their President, followed by Mr. Rajeev Taneja, Vice President, and Dr. Abhik Moita, General Secretary and other members. With this decision, FHWP has strengthened its competitive position within the Indian healthcare and Medical Value Travel (MVT) landscape by bringing decades of collective experience in the form of its leaders.

FHWP is the brainchild of Mr. Dalip Chopra and he is the founding member of the foundation. He has been a part of FHWP?s journey since the beginning, It?s the second time that the committee has appointed Mr Chopra as their President, who holds 30 years of experience in healthcare marketing, administration, medical affairs, services, and operations management. Known for his business acumen in leading and managing healthcare operations, Dalip is excited to lead the FHWP as President and take the association to the international level. He shared his plans for the FHWPI, ?I am honoured to be in this position from where I can help FHWPI bring about the change in India?s healthcare sector and make our services more accessible to the world.?

In his new role as the Vice President of FHWP, Mr. Rajeev Taneja will be In Charge of Internal Compliances & Government Liaisoning. Rajeev has extensive knowledge of medical tourism, owing to his past corporate engagements. He is believed to be an outstanding addition to the team, as he brings a blend of healthcare & medicine experience and what it takes to bring medical developments. He also holds sizeable knowledge of healthcare management; internal medicine; healthcare consulting; and medical tourism. When asked how he felt, Rajeev said, ?There is a significant gap between India?s potential as a leader in healthcare delivery and what it delivers. I hope to bridge that gap with the help of my colleagues.?

Dr. Abhik Moitra, General Secretary of FHWP, has been a banker for most of his corporate journey before he switched to the healthcare industry. Before FHWP, Abhik is the President of a well-known medical assistance company, responsible for taking the brand globally. He has been instrumental in leading large-sized teams and managing cross-country relations. He wishes to, ?use my leadership and a strong background in the industry will accelerate FHWP?s growth.
