Saturday, 14th March 2020: The Infinity School in Greater Noida West culminated their academic session (19-20) with Anubhuti, a learner?s exhibition and a display of students? learning.
The event aimed at providing a platform for the little learners to independently showcase their creatively innovative ideas & skills developed across the year while displaying their prowess in critical thinking, collaboration, decision-making & problem-solving abilities at the same time.
The day began with a cultural programme directed and presented by students, which was opened by children of grade 1 & 2 playing Swartarang (similar instrument like xylophone). Students of pre-primary wing danced to the tunes of Saraswati Vandana and performed a song for their beloved grandparents who also graced the occasion. Older students chose dance, drama & music to communicate their thoughts. A crisp & powerful script enhanced their performances, costumes, and brought thecultural programme alive.
Grades 1 to 5 re-created school days for their parents by inviting them to participate in classroom activities. All students divided into groups took individual sessions on reading, English vocabulary, robotics, game-based learning, computer, science, and mathematics, to help visitors experience how they use their thinking, reading, comprehension, literacy, analytical, reasoning & mathematical abilities to make choices, solve questions, create models, operate device, and tackle challenges inside & outside the classrooms.
The musings of carefree, creative minds were displayed in theart exhibition. Doodles, paper crafts, wax paintings & artefacts made of recycled items were put on display. Lists highlighting the objectives, benefits & skills developed via different art activities accompanied each artwork. Forced perspective photography and stock animation stations, being new and attractive additions to a normal art exhibition, attracted visitors the most.
The activities and presentations were inspired by the students? everyday learning and their understanding of gratitude, sharing, empathy, kindness, caring, teamwork, etc. It was a gratifying moment for families who were delighted to watch their little ones in action, & proud of their accomplishments. The photographs of the event are available on The Infinity School website& social networks.
