The Admit card is the most important document that is needed if you want to sit for the examination. It is mandatory to carry the hall ticket to the exam centre because this validates the information mentioned in the admit card is correct. After the successful submission of the Application form, candidates are allotted with their admit cards which they can download by using their credentials. JEE Main 2020 Admit card (January session) is only available in online mode. No hard copy of the admit card will be sent via post.
How to download the JEE Main 2020 Admit Card?
Jee Main 2020 hall ticket will be available on 6th of December 2019, from the official website of the authority i.e National Testing Agency(NTA). The process is very easy. All you have to do is follow the below-given steps :
Step 1: The candidates need to visit the official website of JEE Main.
Step 2: On the homepage dashboard, candidates will see the “ Download JEE Main January 2020 Admit card”. Click the button.
Step 3: A new page will appear and the candidates will see two options to download the admit card on the dashboard. The downloading options are mentioned below:
● Through Application number and Password
This can be done by using the JEE Main Application Number that is allotted to the candidate at the time of Registration via mail and SMS.
● Through Application number and Date of Birth.
This can be done by using the Application Number and Date of Birth of the candidate provided in the application form by the applicants.
Step 4: Once the candidates have chosen their option and filled the particulars- Application Number, Password/ DOB and security code.
Step 5: Click on ‘Login Button’.
Step 6: From here on the candidates will be redirected to a new dashboard which will show their respective admit card on the screen.
Step 7: Candidates must look at the information carefully and download the hall ticket for exam day. They must also keep multiple copies for future reference.
In case, if the candidate notices any mistake in the admit card, they are advised to contact the authority on the Help-line number between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and request for correction in the hall ticket. The phone numbers will be updated soon on the JEE Main official website.

JEE Main is held twice a year- January and April. The admit card of January session will be available on 6th December 2019 and the exam will take place from 6 January- 11 January.
