Christmas Celebration on Palace on Wheels

Beautifully decorated Palace on wheels will reach Jaisalmer on this Christmas with foreign tourists. Gifts will be distributed to the tourists by Santa Claus. Palace on Wheels, the first luxury train of India, Jaisalmer chugged its way with great pomp and celebrations. It can accommodate 69 tourists in which 49 will be Americans. During the evening time, after the Christmas cake cut tourists will enjoy the cultural programs and fireworks. Delicious dishes will be served to the passengers.

The general manager of the luxury train, Pradeep Bohra stated that the special arrangements on the train will make the tourists feel at home. Upon the arrival of the train, tourists will be treated with traditional performances and folk songs. For the tourists at the local hotel, dance performances and special dinner will be served. Big parties in tents located in the dunes of Sam held.

Along with this, at the Indo-Pak border, BSF jawans and officers also celebrated this festival. Special prayers will be offered to local battalions. Special prayers will be offered by 68 battalions under the Jaisalmer sector which will be lead by Vipin patri. A feast will also be organized. Gifts will be offered to the children of Jawans and officers.

Mr. Bohra also stated that on Sunday night, all the tourists of Palace on Wheels danced to Rajasthani songs in the hotel. They also enjoyed the mesmerizing moves and traditional kalbeliya dance. On the train, a beautiful Christmas tree is also celebrated. Simone Bellucci, an Italian tourist stated that it is a fantastic experience to travel in Palace on Wheels.
