Lana Del Rey to sway the audience at Yasalam after-race concerts

October brought with it some good news: Yas Marina Circuit and FLASH Entertainment announcing the international music superstars chosen to headline Thursday and Saturday night at the after-race concerts for Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019.
The Yasalam lineup will have DJ Marshmello entertaining the crowd at the du Arena, Yas Island, on 28th November, while the show on 30th November show will see US singer and songwriter Lana Del Rey perform on stage.
The announcement of Marshmello and Lana Del Rey concluded the lineup for this year?s Yasalam After-Race Concerts, with Travis Scott taking to the stage on Friday, 29th Nov and The Killers rocking the audience on Sunday, 1st December.

30th November will see Lana Del Rey bring her distinct brand of highly-stylised, energised and romantic songwriting to the UAE capital for the first time.
Regarded as a ?once in a generation? talent by critics, Lana entered the international music scene with her label debut, 2012?s Born To Die. A mix of glamour and melancholy that was inspired from Americana pop culture, the album was a hit around the world.
The singles Video Games and Blue Jeans helped establish Lana as a significant talent who stood out from the pop starlets of the time. The reason Lana Del Rey?s songs stood out was the focus on tragedy and romance with themes reminiscent of iconic Hollywood B-films.
Her 2014 release Ultraviolence introduced the global hit single West Coast which got Lana two Grammy nominations. In her concert at Du Arena, fans can look forward to hearing a mix of hits and tracks from her latest album that was released in August.

After last year?s 10th anniversary edition, the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2019 will run for five days, from Thursday to Monday, providing visitors with 5 full days of off-track and on-track entertainment (including the musical act by Lana Del Rey) across Yas Island.
The race festival will start with Super Thursday & Public Pitlane Walk and will continue to Monday. The 48th UAE National Day will be celebrated on 2nd December with an entire day of fun activities on Abu Dhabi Hill that will keep the festival mood going after the excitement of race day on Sunday.
