Global Media Journal (ISSN: 1550-7521): the bi-annually journal is going to release its next special issue in the month of January on the occasion of New Year 2020. Since its inception in the year 2002, the journal has been publishing several scholarly articles and International conference proceedings.

To commemorate the decade long publications services, the editorial team of the journal is planning to compile an edited special issue focusing on tending researches in Social Media. The theme/title of the upcoming special issue is Young People and Social Media: Towards an Emergence of New Opinion Leaders which is scheduled to be released by January 2020.

The main focus of the special issues, under the stewardship of Dr. Abdelouahab Makhloufi, will be to collate significant developments and provide deeper insights into the following specific research areas which include but not limited to Social Media, New Leaders, Young People, etc.
