Mipcom, 2019: : Along with its existing slate of more than 1500 titles comprising of Indian & International films, television & animation content, from the regional stable, Ultra will also offer a range of films in Marathi, Bhojpuri and Bengali languages. Due to the increase influx of post production work globally, Ultra has increased their studio capacity in India by upgrading the technology and also adding an extra studio premise. This year it will be introduced exclusively in Mipcom to provide end to end solutions to the film & television Industry globally.
?Chippa? is a story about the aspirations of a child who lives on the streets, told through a journey he takes into an enchanting world that he creates himself on a one wintry night in India. The film is an endearing & a universal homage to the spirit and the timeless stories of children growing up globally. In this year the film won the ?Best Film Award? at the 16th Indisches Film Festival, Stuttgart. The 12 year old protagonist of the film Sunny Pawar also won the ?Best Child Actor? award at the prestigious New York Indian Film Festival, DFW South Asian Film Festival in Dallas & ?Ottawa Indian Film festival this year.
The film has also been screened in Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles & Zlin Film Festival for Children in Czech Republic this year..
In our ?Content for Kids? section Ultra will be presenting 85 well known films from the ?Children Films Society of India? along with educational, nursery rhymes, docudramas & cookery shows for them. We also for the first time will be introducing the digital rights of well known Hindi films Wazir & Ferari Ki Sawaari.
