Deccaleap Technologies Discussed Fire Safety with Schools at Times NIE Event

Deccaleap Technologies, an innovative company known for anti-fire equipment based in Pune associated with The Times of India to discuss students' safety on 18th September 2019 with principals of various schools. The event was ?Times NIE Principals' Seminar 2019-20'.

The principals shared their practices of safety at schools and agree to be more dedicated to premises' safety for students.

The event started with a live demonstration of fire safety equipment which was conducted by Tanvi Borkar, Executive Director, Deccaleap Technologies and Prashant Ranpise, chief fire officer, Pune Fire Brigade shared his views on fire safety. Principals from more than 100 schools in and around Pune visited the seminar.

A panel discussion was presented on the topic - ?Necessity of fire safety initiation amongst school kids and individuals?. The panel members included Rajiv Mitra, Managing Director, Deccaleap Technologies, Diniar Patel, Editor, Response, The Times of India, Nalini Sengupta, Principal, Vidya Valley School, Manju Surendran, Principal, PICT Model School, Sharmila Basu, Principal, Magarpatta City Public School, and Sonali Balwatkar, Principal, Akshara International School.

Anirban Sarkar, Chairman of Deccaleap Technologies said, "We started development of the compact fire extinguisher about 7 years ago but our team got triggered after the coaching class accident in Surat and gathered together to make it more easily available for every small premises. We think this should be mandatory for every educational institute to have advanced fire-safety equipment. Now we have a user-friendly and handy product completely made in India and certified in Europe. The Thro is easily accessible and can be used even by students in the absence of any senior member. "

Sarkar also offered schools a proposal to demonstrate these products for students, their parents as well as the staff.

Before the panel discussion, Mr. Ranpise instructed the principals on the precautions they need to follow at schools as well as their homes. He presented some narratives on human carelessness which resulted in huge losses. He also mentioned that the fire department will visit their schools if needed to give a demonstration.

F-Protekkt, an innovative vehicle fire extinguisher and Thro, a jar which can eliminate type 'A' and 'B' fires were presented at the event. Deccaleap Technologies aims at bringing innovation as well as protecting the well-being of the consumers.
