The Indian government has loosened up electronic visa (e-visa) norms from February 15, 2019. This has been done as an offer to empower quicker and increasingly helpful landing for outsiders visiting India on excursions for work.

In case that the stay is for less than 180 days, there will be no requirement of getting enlisted with the Foreign Regional Registration Officer (FRRO) or Foreign Registration Office (FRO) in India.
