Aeris Communications strengthen its leadership team with industry veterans

New Delhi, 13 June 2019: Aeris Communications, a pioneer in the Internet of Things (IoT) and M2M technologies, announced the expansion of its India business leadership team with the appointments of Mr. Ranjeet Koul as VP and County Manager for APAC and MEA; Mr. Sameer Mahapatra as India and SAARC Sales Head; Mr. Ravi Asawa as CFO; Vishal Bhatia as VP for Product Development; Rakesh Gupta as VP for Service Delivery; Gaurav Jain as VP for Global Support; Rajeev Arora as VP for Deployment; and Navneet Sharma as VP for QualDev. The leadership expansion in India reaffirms the company?s commitment to transforming the future of the IoT ecosystem while strengthening its presence in the regions of operations.

Regarding the new appointments, Dr. Rishi Bhatnagar, President, Aeris Communications said, ?We started our journey in 2016 with Mr. Asit Goel, VP of Engineering and Mr. Arvind Gopalakrishnan, VP of Sales Engineering and Customer Success, who helped lay the foundation of the Aeris IoT business in India. Mr. Ranjeet Koul joins Aeris as the Vice President and Country Manager for APAC and MEA regions from Intel Corporation. He brings more than 23 years of experience in the field of sales and marketing.

Mr. Sameer Mahapatra joins Aeris from Vodafone Idea Limited and comes with 20 years of experience in the industry. He will lead the India and SAARC Sales for Aeris.

Mr. Ravi Asawa, who was with NDTV Group, joined VP of Sales Engineering and Customer Success, who helped lay the foundation of the Aeris IoT business in India. Mr. Vishal Bhatia joins as VP Product Management. He has 21 years of experience in product business planning, thought leadership, product strategy, conceptualization, and innovation.

Mr. Rakesh Gupta has joined Aeris as VP Global Services from Impetus Technologies and brings on-board more than 23 years of Global IT experience.

Mr. Gaurav Jain joins Aeris as the VP of Global SoC from Aircel. He has 31 years of experience in emerging and large telecom markets, spanning global geographies.

Mr. Rajeev Arora joins Aeris as VP of IoT Customer Solution Deployment─India, Asia, and Africa. He joins Aeris from Aircel with 24 years of deep industry and customer knowledge across global markets.

Mr. Navneet Sharma joins Aeris as VP Qualdev from GEP. He brings 18 years of experience and expertise in building frameworks business process automation and establishing Centre of Excellence for Test Automation.

With these new board of members and the expertise they bring, Aeris? business in the APAC region, specially India, will undergo transformational change. Aeris always has been a pioneer in providing a safe, secure, and reliable IoT ecosystem and, with these new additions, this will reach the next level.
