Interactive Brokers (IB) Clinches 25% Rise in US Retail FX Funds
FXBrokerFeed notes resilience of US based FX brokerages during the week with Interactive Brokers ahead of the pack. IB shook off a few trading downturns, to clinch a 25% increase during the period under review.
FXBrokerFeed observes Interactive Brokers performance as underpin of its commanding 42% share of US retail FX market. Though trailing, competition from brokerages like TD Ameritrade, and Oanda Corporation contributed to the 4% rise in FX deposits.
Cumulatively, Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) indicate FX Brokers traded $590 in February 2019, compared with $568 million chalked the previous month.
