Sharda University expands International Faculty in its School of Engineering & Technology

New Delhi, Aug 12, 2011: Sharda University, an institute of excellence, inspiring value-based education, research and development, has engaged three new professors for its School of Engineering & Technology. The new international faculty, with grand academic and industry experience, is a favorable addition to the University's reserve of existing academicians and experts.

Dr. Nickloy Mykola Zosimovych, Dr. Balakrishnan Uckath, who have both joined School of Engineering & Technology as Professor and Dr. Kumar Anupam as Assistant Professor will now share their international experience with the students of Sharda University.

Dr. Nickloy, with doctorate in Aerospace Engineering from Moscow State Aviation Institute (MAI), has a colossal experience of 22 years in academics and research. Formerly he has worked as Professor with National Aviation University (NAU) and as Associate Professor in State University of Agriculture and Ecology, Ukraine. The second professor Dr. Balakrishnan Uckath, a Ph.D from Tata Institute of Fundamental and Research (TIFR), Bombay, has around 34 years of experience in academics and research. He also has a rich and varied work experience from institutes such as EIT (Eritrea), Singapore Institute of Management (Singapore) and Sona College of Technology (Salem) besides TIFR, Bombay.

The University has a penchant for identifying young and talented teachers as well. Joining the School of Engineering & Technology at the position of Assistant Professor, Dr. Anupam hails from IIT, Roorkee. He also has a Ph.D from National Institute of Singapore to his credit. His valuable industrial experience as Structural Design Engineer in Total Environment Building system is bound to help the engineering students.

The University will also be recruiting 20 more international faculties in this academic year from USA, UK, Egypt, Iran, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Taiwan, countries of EU (European Union) and Bangladesh. Nine out of these 20 faculties will be joining School of Engineering & Technology and rest will join the University's School of Business Studies.
