BankBazaar.com, India?s leading free credit score provider and online financial product marketplace, announced a tie-up with MFine, the on-demand healthcare service provider, to enable free medical consultation for BankBazaar employees and their families as part of BankBazaar?s employee initiatives in the wake of Covid 19.
As part of the tie-up, BankBazaar employees can use the MFine app to consult with doctors from their preferred hospitals via chat audio or video to get prescriptions and routine care free of cost. Whenever employees have any medical queries or are worried about their symptoms of cold and flu, they can get assessed by a doctor via MFine. This includes unlimited consultations with General Physicians, Covid Specialists, as well as mental health specialists including psychiatrists and counsellors for employees and up to 5 dependents.
Speaking about the hiring plans, Sriram V, CHRO, BankBazaar, said that the company has been focussed on trying to help employees remain physically and mentally healthy: ?It is essential to acknowledge that these are extremely challenging times for everyone, and physical and mental health is of utmost importance. At a time when the healthcare system is stressed, knowing that there is a single point where you can reach out to specialists for advice for yourself and your family members takes away a lot of stress for the employees. We are happy to partner with MFine and we are sure they?ll do their best to ensure our employees are able to connect with GPs, Covid specialists, and mental health experts whenever they are in need.?
Arjun Choudhary, Founding Member & Chief Business Officer, MFine, adds: "The Covid pandemic and the prolonged work from home situation have changed the corporate sector?s usual way of life. Employees are not only vulnerable to Covid-19, but are also battling several other physical and mental health concerns. Online consultations offer a convenient way to instantly access medical care and guidance from experts across the country, without leaving the safety of home. We are pleased to partner with BankBazaar, and to provide access to continued medical care for their employees and families."
The tie-up is the latest in a series of steps taken by BankBazaar to ensure employees remain protected during the pandemic. The company has an internal Covid Helpline that keeps track of bed and oxygen availability and a medical and life insurance policies and claims assistance hotline in case of hospitalization. BankBazaar is also bearing the cost of vaccinating employees and their immediate family members. The company has also allotted special leaves for employees suffering from Covid as well as additional self-care leaves in the form of bereavement leave and compassionate leave to employees who have lost someone close to them. The company moved its corporate workforce to an entirely remote working set-up in early March last year and plans on continuing that way for the foreseeable future.
